Dental Specialty Training (DST) follows Dental Core Training (DCT). 
It runs for three to five years depending on the specialty.

Dental specialties
There are 13 dental specialties recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC). 
Currently, NHS England does not offer any training in Oral Microbiology.
