Longlisting and shortlisting
If you're longlisted, you'll be invited to attend the online assessment centre.
The outcome you achieve following the assessment centre will determine if you are shortlisted.
After you have submitted your application
Longlisting
All applicants will be assessed against the essential criteria of the person specification. This lets us identify who to invite to the assessment centre.
Please refer to the relevant person specification for full details and ensure that you demonstrate how you meet it within your application form.
Shortlisting
Shortlisting will be determined following your results of the assessment centre. If you pass all elements of the assessment centre, you'll be invited to attend the selection centre.
Applicants will need to reach a minimum standard at the tests of numeracy and critical reasoning and the Situational Judgment Test (SJT). Applicants meeting this standard will then be ranked according to their scores at assessment.
Applicants failing to meet the minimum standard at assessment centre will be notified at this stage that their application will not proceed further.
For further information about the assessment centre, go to the Faculty of Public Health website.
