NHS England is responsible for educating and training doctors, dentists, nurses and all healthcare professionals in England.

Medical and Dental training programmes in England are managed locally by NHS England's local offices. 

Training programmes in Wales are managed by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW)

Training programmes in Northern Ireland and Scotland continue to be managed by deaneries.
