Remote and overseas testing

If you meet certain conditions, you’ll be able to sit the Situational Judgement Test (SJT) remotely, or at one of Pearson VUE’s overseas test centres.

Remote testing requirements

Remote testing is only available to applicants with extenuating circumstances. The DCT National Recruitment Office will review requests on a case-by-case basis.

Overseas test centres

If you’re outside of the UK during the SJT window, you’ll have the opportunity to sit the test at your nearest Pearson VUE test centre, subject to availability.

To assist applicants with overseas availability, the DCTNRO reserves seats in a few core locations and you’ll have been given the chance to register your interest at the time of application. You should be aware that the number of places in centres is limited and overseas test places are available on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Whilst we’ll make every effort to provide you with your preferred location, we cannot guarantee this. You may be required to attend the nearest location with availability.
